Grandpa Shaffer died Monday of lung fever at the home of his son Alexander, living seven miles north east of this city. The deceased leaves three sons and one daughter. The funeral occurred Wednesday from the Catholic church. The remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery at Sheldon by the side of his wife.
