1900 was a family in West Branch Tsp, Peter Kruise born July 1862 Holland and Elizabeth Kruise 1864 with John, Sarah, George and Jessie. Name was spelled Kruise in the 1900 census but in other records with matching children the name was Kroese.

In 1910 the family was living in O’Brien County IA Peter Kroese age 47, Elizabeth age 44, they were parents of 9 children seven of whom were living at the time. Children were John 19, Sadie 17, Geo 15, Jessie 12, Isaac 7, Nellie 4, Bert 2.

In a report on ancestry.com submitted by other family, Elizabeth name was Elizabeth Van Zanten 1865-1962 Sheldon IA and Peter died 12 May 1929.
