On Sunday morning last a little daughter of H. H. and dolly Rudd died. Measles was the cause. Funeral services were held at the house and the lifeless clay was followed to the grave by a large concourse of people.

From a report on line (done by family members) Hiram H. Rudd was 47 born New York wife was Dollie Lydia Curtis 1854-1935 age 26 children Ettie Rudd 14 and Birdie M. Rudd 1.

1885 census of Sioux county Hiram H. Rudd was 50 and living in Calliope Sioux county.

Hiram H. Rudd died 15 Dec 1909 Clay Co. SD
