Mr. and Mrs. J. Veldhuizen, zuid west van hier, hebben hun jongste kind door den dood verloren. Ds. Strakes leidde de godsdienstoefening bij de gegrafenis.
Translation:
Mr. and Mrs. J. Veldhuizen south west of here had their youngest child die, the funeral was led by Ds. Straks.

John (Van) Veldhuizen and Effie were in Sherman Tsp in 1900 1900 census John and Effie had three children Della, Tunis and James.

It is assumed that possibly the first one of the Henry’s died.

A small article in the Hull Index of July 17 1947 - Mrs. Effie Noomen of the Sheldon Holland Home who had been a patient in the Hull hospital for several weeks passed away last Sunday Afternoon
