Translated:
Friday the youngest child of our friend B. Mouw passed away, and he himself is seriously ill from the lung fevers.

1880 census of West Branch Sioux county lists Barend Mouw age 30 and wife Mary age 26, they had children Cornelis 3, Wilmina 2 and Willem 3 mo.

The membership record of the First Reformed church of Sioux Center lists Berens Mouw and wife Mary Duistermars had children Cornelius born 1876 Willemina born 1878, Willem born Mar died Mar 1879, Willem born Mar 1880, Johannes born 1881, Hendrika born 1883, and Hendrikus born 1885.
