Korteweg, J. Mrs. nee’ Reintz Koopmans died 1879.

Sunday morning at 6 o'clock, died at the age of 55 years, the wife of Mr. J. Korteweg. On Tuesday morning the lonely remains of the deceased, followed by a great host of friends and acquaintances, were buried. Rev. Betten gave a funeral oration.

1880 census of Holland township, lists Jacob Korteweg age 66 retired farmer living with daughter Lucy age 14.
