Ardelerhof, Willempje (Mrs. Brand) abt. born 1845 – died Feb 1918 buried in Orange City.

No obit was readily found for Willempje. The probate notice had the earliest date of end or February 1918 mentioned.

She was born Willemtje Smienk to Tijmen Smien 40 and Aaltje Klop 33, on 6 Feb 1845 at Ermelo Gelderland Netherlands. She married at age 23 to Brand Ardelerhof age 33, he was the son of Jan Hendriksen Ardelerhof and Gijsbertje Brands. Willemtje was the daughter of Tijmen Smienk and Aaltje Hop (noted as Klop at birth) They were married 4 March 1868 at Harderwijk, Gelderland Netherlands. Her husband was Brand Ardelerhof born 2 Feb 1835 Harderwijk Gelderland Neth. He died there 8 Aug 1873.

Research notes: She with her three sons and one daughter Gijsbertje 1868-1902 (later Mrs. Johan Schreurs 1872-1902) immigrated to Orange City IA. Death and tragedy struck this family beyond words)

Brandt Ardelerhof age 20 came to USA 11 Feb 1895 on Ship Maasdam he was listed along and was 20 yrs of age.
