A 4-year-old girl of Jake van Maanen, who had been ailing for some time, passed away on Tuesday night. Our sympathy is with the sorrowful parents.

From the First Ref church membership records Jake Van Manen and Gerritje Juffer were the parents of Aaltje Van Manen born 10 June 1895 and died Feb 2, 1899. Other children were Gerrit 1892, Harm 1893, Marchtje 1897, and Wympje 1898.
