From a report on line (by others) Gerrit Noteboom born Jan 1, 1856 Pella IA died 29 Apr 1932 Sioux Center. IA Wife Johanna Ver Duin born 1861 MI died 1899 Mersevey, Franklin IA. She was the daughter of Peter Ver Duin 1817-1900 and Dingena Ver Steeg 1835-1921, they had one daughter Maria Noteboom 1880-1948.

Sioux county Herald of Apr 26, 1899A telegram received here last Friday from Franklin County IA brought the sad news of the death of Mrs. Gerrit Noteboom. Mrs. Noteboom died of lung fever after a brief illness. Deceased was 38 years of age and leave her husband and a daughter eighteen years old to mourn her death. Mr. and Mrs. Arie Noteboom of this place, Isaac of Alton and Mrs. Klaas Vander Stoep of Maurice left Friday afternoon to attend the funeral. The Noteboom family formerly resided here and have many relatives and friends in and about Orange city who were shocked to learn of the lady’s sudden death.
