A family report on line (by others) lists Herman Snieder 8 Dec 1889 Kansas died 23 Jun 1920 Sioux Center IA . His parents were Steven Snieders 1862-1949 and Helen Deiters 1869-1961, wife Gertrude Schutt born 1895 died 1981. They had two children – Helen 1917 and Theodore 1919. Gertrude later married Edward VanDonge 1898-1983. They had two children – Peter 1922 and Jarold 1924.

Translated:
On the 23rd of June it pleased God to take away from us by death our beloved husband and father, Harm Snieders, at the age of more than thirty years. A blow of a horse resulted from his early demise. Wonderful are the ways of the All-Wise God. This mourning is immediately painful. The confidence that he might enter out of suffering into the blessedness of the almighty God, eases our grief.
Standing at the promise of Him who is Judge of widows and Father of orphans, and hoping for a blissful reunion, we in this great sorrow we hope to adore Him who is holy in all His deeds: The distressed widow, Mrs. H. Snieders, born Schut and the children, Helen and Theodore Gregory, Sioux Center IA.
