Wednesday night the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. H. De Mots died of membraneous croup. The funeral was Friday midday under the lead of Ds. Hemmstra. Our sympathy is with the parents.

Translated:
It pleased the Lord of life and death to take away from our side last Wednesday night, Feb. 18, after only a few days of suffering, our dear son Gilbert in the old age of 4 years and 3 months. May the Great Physician pour balsam into the wound inflicted on us in this loss, and teach one to acquiesce in the trial sent us by His hand in this matter. Henry De Motts and Alida Beernink De Mots.
