Het is onze treurige plicht een nieuw sterfgaval van deze plaats te moeten nelden, De Vrouw van J. Van der Keur in het oosten der stad, die verladen Donderdag het levenshlicht schoonk aan een meisje, is Zondag overleden aan bloedvergiftiging. De Jonggeborene die ongenschijnlijk goed gezond was, had eeige uren te voren, in hare armen plotseling den laatsten adem uitggblazen. De begrafenie had gesternamiddag plaats. Mrs. V. d. Keur was een dochter van coon Shafer.
Translation:
It is our sorrowful duty to have to bring about a new death in this place, The wife of J. Van der Keur in the east of the city, who delivered the day of life to a girl on Thursday, died on Sunday of blood poisoning. The Newborn, who was in unbelievably good health, had taken the last breath a few hours before, in her arms. The funeral took place in the afternoon. Mrs. V. d. Keur was a daughter of Coon Schafer.

Jetze van der Kuur was the son of Luitzen van der Kuur and Leentje Hoitinga.
