Maandag overleed een dochtertje van Jan van de Brake, tengevolge van mazelen en longkoortsen.
Translation:
On Monday, a daughter of Jan van de Brake died as a result of measles and lung fever.

The infant son of of John Van de Brake born 1863 died 1915 and Johanna Oolman 1864-1956, lost two infant children.

Research note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) John Vande brake born 1863 Pells IA died 2 May 1815 Orange City IA,wife was Johanna Oolman 1864-1956; Children were Gerrit !887, Alice 1889, Jacob 1892, Bert 1894 and Eva Pas 1898.

Assume the above child was born between Bert and Eva about 1896/1897.

Found the death record baby was Herman Jan died Jul 18, 1898 at 1 year 7 mo and 12 days.
