A child of T. (J.) Krebs of Floyd township died of Diphtheria last Saturday. No physician was called.

Joseph Krebs 47 was only Krebs family living in Floyd township in the 1880 census wife Margereth 37, Children Jacob 17, Lena 13, Thekla 8, Jospehine 3, Margereth 2.

Research note: Family report on ancestry.com (by others) There was a child of Joseph F. Krebs 1832-1925 and Margaritha Fuchs 1843-1937 by the name of George born Sep 1869 and died before 1880 census. This most probably is the child that died May 1879.
