Van Iperen, Bastiaan born 1827 died 22 Jan 1879 Hospers IA, buried Hospers Presb. Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Van Iperen died Wednesday morning the 22nd last. He was buried on Saturday. The funeral services were conducted in the Presbyterian church in Hospers by Rev Idsinga. Mr. Van Iperen had been suffering a long time from cancer of the stomach. He was one of our first settlers in Sioux County and was very respected. He leaves a wife and four children.

His wife was Hilligje van den Berg 1825-1915. Children listed were Alewyn 1851-1897, Jan 1853-1900, Seine 1858, Hilligje 1860-1861 and Barbara Mrs. William Zwart 1860-1942.
