They were Johann Adolph born Jan 31, 1875 died Dec 17, 1879, Katharina Margaretha born Sep 20, 1868 died Dec 9, 1879, Carl Wilhelm Johann born June 21, 1871 died Nov 29, 1879. In addition to their father, all three died from the dreaded disease diphtheria. The pain and sorrow of the mother must have been all but unbearable!
