McCormick, Infant of Robert 1884 lived in Ireton area

Death of a babe of Robert Mc Cornack or Mc Cormick, only a few weeks old.
The 1880 census of Reading township lists R. H. Mc Cormick 30 born in Indiana, Wife Eunice R. 23 born in Indiana, children – all born in Iowa; Cora W. 4, Willie 2, and George 1.
The death of the babe was mysterious and could have been caused by the father laying upon the child. Robert had been sunstruck some time ago and his state of mind was in question and since his wife had passed away a short time ago he was left with about 4 small children. The article relating to this is lengthy and the submitter does not wish to expand upon it.
Could not determine what happened to this family in later years, if they moved on or were split up.
