The old Mrs. B. Kastein entered eternal rest on the night of Saturday or Sunday after a relatively short illness. The Burial took place on Tuesday under the direction of Rev. Beets. Funeral services were held at the house of death and in the Chr. Ger. Church
A large crowd of interested people was present at the funeral service in the church building of the Chr. Ger. congregation, where she was addressed by the pastors Dss. Beets and De Pree. Mr. and Mrs. Kastein had been married for 28 years, during which time seven children were born. This was the first death event that took place in that family.
