Tujetsch, Thomas’s Children died 1879
From the Sioux County Independent of Aug 16, 1879,

Thos. Tujestch, liing in Grant Twonship has recently lost 3 children and on Thursday another was not expected to live.

The malady was believed to be Diphtheria.

In the 1880 census of Grant township, Sioux county Thomas Tujetsch was 33 yrs of age born in Switzerland, his wife Carroline Hartman was 34 born in IL. The surviving children were Albert W. 4 born in IA and Cora M. 8 mo. born in IA.

From info on ancestry.com Thomas was born 1840 Switzerland died 17 Feb 1935, his wife was Carroline Hartman, children were Albert 1875, Cora 1880, Mary 1884 and Minnie 1885.

No names of the 3 or 4 children who perished in that epidemic were found. No evidence of where the children were buried, possibly Matlock.
