IRETON WOMAN--MRS. FANNIE KNEUBEL DIES

Mrs. Fena "Fannie" Kneubel died at the Sioux Center Hospital at 1 A.M. Saturday morning following several weeks sickness. She was 78 years of age and had been a resident of Sioux County she was a young woman.

Fannie Dekker was born in the Netherlands on April 1, 1881 and came with her family to the United States at the age of one year, first living at Lucter, Kansas.

She was united in marriage to Titus Kneubel on April 4, 1900. He was preceded her in death. Survivors include nine daughters who are: Mrs. Edward Biemers, Sioux Center; Mrs. William Brower, Chicago; Mrs. William Vander Kieft, Lynden, Washington; Mrs. Harold Cooper, Chicago; Mrs. Henry Van Bruggen, Ireton; Mrs. John Dekker, Maurice; Mrs. Wilsen Van Bruggen and Mrs. Herman Zylstra both of Chicago; and Mrs. Marion Velling, Ireton. There are 31 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Peter Soodsma of Hull, Iowa, survives.

Mrs. Kneubel was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Satterlee Funeral Home in Ireton at 1:30 P.M. and at the Christian Reformed Church at 2:00 P.M. Services were conducted by Reverend Alfred Hannink. Pallbearers included six grandsons, Reverend Ted Van Bruggen, James Dekker, Lloyd and Thurlow Biemers and Ted and Harold Van Bruggen. Burial was in the family plot at the Sioux Center Cemetery.
