Willem Den Hartog was born Nov 26, 1870 at Mairon Co., iA, and died at Lake Park Jan 18, 1903, at the age of more than 32 years. A stroke was the cause of his death. The funeral was conducted at the mansion by Rev. Prugh. The Father and Mother, Mrs. Hymen den Hartog of Hull were already present today. So also his brothers Henry of Alton and Jan van Lake Park, and his sisters, Mrs. Jongewaard van Hornick, Mrs. Frick and Mrs. Kleinjan from Chicago and Mrs. Garrison of Hull; another sister, Mrs. Babcock from Rock Valley couldn't be there. The remains were buried Friday at Hull.
