SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. JOHN DE ROOS

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude De Roos, who died at her home in Rock Rapids Friday, were held Monday at the Congregational Church with the Reverend E.C. Allen officiating. Interment was in the Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids.

Mrs. De Roos was a native of Sioux Center. She was born there December 7, 1887.

She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Carol, Mrs. Richard Benesh, Radcliffe, Iowa, and Joan, Mrs. Richard Cummings, Littleton, Colorado; two sons, Orwin, Spokane, Washington and John, Hayward, California; 10 grandchildren; one brother, John Vande Berg of Hull; and two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Van Roekel of Sioux Center and Mrs. Andrew De Roos of San Leandro, California.
