Mr. John Henry Kleinwolterink died Friday October 7th at the Hull Hospital following a lingering illness which began when he suffered a stroke a few months ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday Oct 11, a 1 O’clock from the house and 1:30 from the second Christian Ref. Church Rev. Keuning officiating.

Deceased was born April 2, 1861 at Aalten Neth. He came to American 50 years ago, and married Johanna Dora Kelinhesselink at Orange City, in April 1883. Nine children were born to them, five of whom died, three in infancy. William at the age of 2, and Hattie at the age of 39. Mrs Kleinwolterink passed away in 1907.

Survivors include Mrs. P. E. De Vries, Mrs. George Bonnema of Steen MN, and Mrs. Gerrit Rens. There are twenty four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one sister Mrs. Gerrit TerHaar of Sioux Center. Prior to his retirement Mr. Kleinwolterink was engaged in farming. He resided in Sioux Center nineteen years.
