Mrs. Marinus Van Willigen died Friday at her home here after a long illness, at the age of 82 years. Her husband passed on less than a year ago, very suddenly on Nov. first. The couple had no children and Mrs. Van Willigen's only relatives are two nephews and a niece living in Yakima, WA.

They were a happy companionable old pair and the passing of her mate whom she had expected to precede on account of the serious illness with which she suffered, was keenly felt.

Both are held in affectionate memory by many alton friends. Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Van Willigan has been in the care of Mrs. Zalme Sr. Funeral services were held at the home in charge of Rev. Eusena on Saturday afternoon, with interment in Nassau township cemetery.
