Gerret Van Wyhe Dies After Long Lingering Illness . Gerret Van Wyhe, farmer near Hills, Minn., died Tuesday, May 13, 1947, after a lingering illness of several years. Mr. Van Wyhe was born in Holland, the son of Henry and Christina Van Wyhe. He came to the United States when 13 years old. He died at the age of 40 years, nine months and 12 days. Funeral services were held at the Steen Reformed church and internment was made in the Rock Valley cemetery. Lockwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
