Friday the old mother Vanden Bosch, died at the house of her children Mr. and Ms. Johannes Schaap, She reached the age of 85 years and 10 months. July 9, 1835 she was born in the Netherlands. At 20 years of age she came to America and first settle in Holland MI where she met and married Peter VerDuin. Of this marriage the following children were born – Cornelis Verduin Todd County SD; Mrs. Johannes Schaap and Mrs. P. Noteboom of here; Mrs. C. Klein of Sioux Center; Peter Verduin of Litchvill ND; Leonard Verduin of Sioux Center; Later they lived in Illinois where the father died. She came with her children to Sioux County and lived east of Orange City, later lived in SD, ……see obit for additional info she married Mr. Vanden Bosch.
Research note: In a report of the family of her son Leonad Verduin, it was stated that his parents were Pieter Verduijn 1817-1900 and Dingena Ver Steeg July 1835 Netherlands 07 May 1921 Orange city IA.

Probable parents:
From the Wiewaswie.nl site found a Dingina VerSteeg born 7 July 1835 to Cornelius Versteeg and Johanna Groeneweg, she was born in Hardinxveld, Dordrecht, Zuid Holland Netherlands.
