G. J. Vos Funeral at Orange City.
Funeral services for G. J. Vos who died Saturday at Maurice were led at the First Che Ref Church of Orange City, with Rev. Bronkema in charge. Mr. Vos was 52 years of age and is survived by his wife and four children.

Gerrit Jan Vos who three weeks ago was admitted to a local hospital and also examined in Sioux city, found no benefit. His brain was declared dead, so that he was transported home, and there came the end, Saturday, July 27 at 3 a.m. Born 21 Jan 1869 in Enschede, the Netherlands, G J Vos got married in 1893 to Berendina Gesink, in 1913 with his family here He worked for several years as a shoemaker and later settled on a farm, West of here of the 6 children, from his marriage born, 4 are still alive, Herman, in Ireton; Gertrude, Mrs. H. L. Te Velde, Ireton, Conrad and Bertha still in the house, Besides this one and his widow, he leaves after 2 brothers and 4 sisters in the Netherlands. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon from the 1st Chr. Church where Ds. R. Broneman led the service.
