Ireton IA, Funeral services for Herman Vos who died in Arizona, were held Monday afternoon at the Ireton Chr Ref Church. Burial was at Orange City.

Herman Bernard Vos 60 a resident of Sioux County for many years, died at Phoenix Ariz. Nov. 24th following a heart attack. The body was brought to Ireton where services were held in the Christian Ref. church following a short service at home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Draayer Sr. After the service which was in charge of Rev. R. Bronkema of Orange City the remains were taken to; Orange City to be interred in the family burial plot. Mr. Vos farmed in the Ireton vicinity since young manhood but moved to Arizona in 1946 in the hope of benefiting Mrs. Vos's health. The couple spent the winter since that time in Arizona but returned to Iowa for the summer months. They left Iowa last October. Surviving relatives include his wife, one brother, Conrad Vos of Orange City, and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Vos of Orange City and Mrs. Henry Te Velde of Brooten, Minn
