Obituary

Mr. Henry Kraayenbrink passed away Friday night in Sioux Center at the age of 73 years. On January 9, 1929, in Sioux Center, he was united in marriage to Johanna Vande Kamp who preceded him on October 4, 1976. To this union five children were born: Alyda, Mrs. Ed Van Maanen, of Doon; Gerrit of Sioux Center; Harriet, Mrs. Herbert Van Engen, of Doon; Henry M., of Sioux Center; and Judith, Mrs. Joe Van Tol of Rock Valley. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Johanna Kaemingk of Lynden, Washington and Albert and Ben, both of Sioux Center.

Henry came to this country when he was four and spent his married life farming in the Doon area. In 1970 he retired and moved to Sioux Center. His passing is mourned by many friends and relatives.
