H. J. Zeutenhorst Died July 4th

Mr. H. J. Zeutenhorst died at his home in Sioux Center earl Friday morning July 4, 1947 at the age of 78 years and 8 months after a lingering illness of more than 6 months.

Mr. Zeutenhorst came to the U. S. from Holland as a boy and was one of the pioneer settlers in Sioux County. He was married to Jacoba Westra Feb 25, 1896 at Orange City.

Mr. Zeutenhorst is survived by his wife , six children, 30 grand children, and 6 great grandchildren, 1 Brother and 1 sister.

The surviving children are: Mrs. William Koops of Sioux Center; Mrs. T. Jansen of Orange City; Gerrit of Maurice; Herman of MI, Mrs. Everett Van Binsbergen of Boyd, MN; and John of Sioux Center. Two children preceded him in death: Gerrit who died at age six, and Dick who died on March 23 of this year.

His brother Henry of Alton and his sister Mrs. Alice Boersma of El Reno. Oklahoma also survive. One brother, John of Yakima Wash. Preceded him in death.

Funeral Services were held on Monday July 7, from the First Reformed Church, Rev. L. A. Brunsting officiated. Burial was made in the Sioux Center Cemetery.
