Mrs. Peter Kruse passed away last Tuesday evening, November 21. She was born January 3, 1882 in Sheridan Township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Schumacher.

Anna M. was baptized on February 13, 1882 and confirmed on March 29, 1896. On May 1, 1901 she was united in marriage to Mr. Peter Kruse. They made their home from that time on the present Peter Kruse farmstead. Three years ago they retired to live in a home nearby.

For several years the departed was in failing health and about a year ago she sustained a stroke which left her a partial invalid. Since November 8 her condition became more serious. She attained an age of 68 years, 10 months and 13 days.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: William of Tyler, Minnesota; Wilhelmina (Mrs. Clause Woelber) of George; Mary (Mrs. Klause Hollander) of Boyden; Walter of George; Henry of Sheldon; Fritz of Chandler, Minnesota; Arnold of Adrian, Minnesota; Emma of Boyden; Elsie (Mrs. Edward Hausman) of Boyden; Albert of George; Rudolph of Boyden; 34 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and two sisters, both of Bhokio, Minnesota.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 26, 1950 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church with Reverend William Strieppe officiating. Interment in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers were P.M. Kruse, Herman Jantzen, Chrise Hollander, Fred Sohl, H.D. Ossenfort, and C.L.H. Vagts.
