Friends here received word of the sudden death of Fred David Dickman, 72, of Menlo Park, California, who passed away in his sleep June 21 in a motel when he and Mrs. Dickman were enroute home from a vacation trip to Washington and Oregon.

He is survived by his wife, the former Alberta Arendsen, and two daughters, Maxine and Norma. The family made their home here for many years, and he was an employee at the local post office. Burial was at Menlo Park.
