Insufficient information found, submitter can only speculate on her identity. Anyone who can positively identify the ‘Grandmother’ please contact our page coordinator.

After some research submitter suspects this could be the second wife (Neeltje Wijnstroom) of Barend Scholting who died in the Netherlands Suspect that Barend’s wife and two daughters of Barend and first wife, came to America possibly separately. Cornelia Lena 1861-1938 and Louise Mrs. Nicolaas Hanemaayer. Neeltje was the widow of Johan Severing before she married Barend. Barend’s first wife died in the Netherlands in 1880.
