Stuit, Tonnis Wm. Born 14 Jun 1891 died 22 Aug 1917 buried in Hospers Cemetery Hospers IA.

See the obit of his father, Tonnis ‘Tunis’ Stuit 1857-1934 which mentions a son died at age 27. His mother was Barbara Alberdina De Haan see her obit as Mrs. Barbara - Tunis Stuit 1957-1943.

On Wednesday 22 Aug, our beloved son, Teunis Stuit, died in the life of 26 years, 2 months and 8 days, after suffering 1 year and 4 months. He was a young man who feared the Lord and went away in full expectation of a blissful resurrection, so comforting to our grieving hearts. Our sincere thanks to the Board of Supervisors, and of the friends in Newkirk, Hospers, Archer and Primghar.
