Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Vugteveen, 93, were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Reformed Church. The Reverend Martin Gritters officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Vugteveen died Tuesday at a Rock Valley nursing home.

Louise Bleeker was born September 6, 1873, at Muskegon, Michigan. She was married to Henry Vugteveen March 15, 1892, at New Holland, South Dakota. They lived in the Rock Valley area since 1909. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Will Wynia, Mrs. Albert Klomp, and Miss Alberta Vugteveen, all of Rock Valley; two sisters, Mrs. John Timmer, Pease, Minnesota, and Mrs. Edward Vugteveen of Milaca, Minnesota; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A son, Will, preceded her in death and a daughter, Dena, two grand daughters and one great-grand daughter.
