Mrs. Conrad Van Zee, 88, died September 25, in Hegg Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held September 28 in the First Reformed Church with Reverend Henry B. Poppen officiating. Burial was held in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.

The former Lena Ver Doorn was born October 16, 1883, in the Netherlands.

She was married March 23, 1904 in Middleburg, Iowa, and has lived in Rock Valley for 66 years.

Survivors are her sons, Henry and Richard, both of Rock Valley, daughters, Mrs. Case Ver Mulm of Rock Valley, Mrs. Henry VanDer Bok of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. Robert Dempsey of Bellflower, California, Mrs. Moss Van Holland of Ontario, California, 26 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
