Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church at Hull on Wednesday, November 1, for John Van Wyhe, 71, who died Monday at the Sioux Center Community Hospital following a brief illness. Burial was made in Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Mr. Van Wyhe was born September 23, 1896,to Jacob and Grietje (Van Maanen) Van Wyhe, on a farm near Hull and lived there until moving to Hull about 1940.

Survivors include seven brothers, Jacob, Dick, William, and Edward, Lee, Arthur and Ben; and five sisters, Hattie, Jennie, Janet, Christene and Gert.
