Schmit, Mathias born 27 Mar 1882 died 1893 son of J. P. and Anna Glesener buried in St. Anthony’s cemetery Hospers IA.

He is believed to be the son of Peter and Suzanna Glesener Schmit.

See the obit of her mother Mrs. Peter Schmit, Susan Glesener 1853-1929 which states she lost a daughter Elizabeth in 1902. Peter Schmit born Jan 2, 1845 died Aug 1, 1908 at age 63 years born Germany parents Mat Schmit and Beta Lutchen. The Alton Democrat of Aug 8 was not displayed but for 4 pages.
