SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. HOWARD HARMAN

Services for Mrs. Howard Harman, 52, of Boyden were held in the United Presbyterian Church of Boyden on Monday. Mrs. Harman had been hospitalized in the Sioux Center Hospital for some time.

Mrs. Harman was born Wilhelmina Van Roekel on December 25, 1914, in Orange City. She married Howard Harman on January 22, 1936. The couple spent their married life on a farm south of Boyden.

She is survived by a daughter, Arlene (Mrs. Roy F. De Jong) of Orange City, and a son, Lester of Boyden and by three grandchildren.

Other survivors include four sisters--Nancy (Mrs. John Horn) of Lake Wilson, Minnesota; Gertrude (Mrs. Tunis Vander Lee) of Sheldon; Henrietta (Mrs. Dale Ferwerda) of Springfield, South Dakota; Joan (Mrs. Philip Van Gorp) of Boyden. Mrs. Harman is also survived by two brothers--Albert Van Roekel of Sheldon and Abe Van Roekel of Boyden. Reverend Marvin Camp conducted the services.
