Daniel Jacob Van Rooyen, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Van Rooyen of Alden, Iowa, was born on Tuesday, January 11, and passed away on Thursday, January 13.

Graveside services for Daniel Jacob were held on Saturday, January 15, with Reverend D. Lenderink officiating. Burial was at West Lawn Cemetery with the Van Gelder Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors are his parents, one sister, Melissa, 5, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Van Rooyen and Mr. and Mrs. William Ter Horst and the great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Van Rooyen and Mrs. John Kroeze, all of Orange City.
