The brother of Mrs. John Smith and Mrs. Harriet Mulder, Neal Schut of Sioux City passed away of cancer after a short illness on Sept. 3rd. The Smiths and Mrs. Mulder attended the funeral on the 6th. Mrs. (Tillie) Schut passed away four years ago. One son Marvin of Sioux Center survives as does three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sons preceded him in death. Last week Tuesday the Smiths and Mrs. Mulder attended the funeral of (heir cousin, Gerald Schut of Sioux Center, who was 55 years, and was sick only a day.
