Mrs. John G. Van Roekel, 78, Sioux Center, Iowa, died November 7 at her residence.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. November 10 at the First Reformed Church, the Reverend Gerrit Rezelman officiating. Burial at Memory Gardens, Cooperative Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Former Sarah Te Grotenhuis, born June 27, 1894 at Sioux Center, daughter of Jan W. and Janna (Kleuvers) Te Grotenhuis. She married John G. Van Roekel February 10, 1915 Sioux Center. He died in February 1955.

Survivors: Sons, Gershom and Warren of Hull, Clinton of George, Merle of Rock Rapids, Arlin of Sioux Center, the Reverend James of Waupon, Wisconsin; 15 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren.
