Twin babies, a son, LeRoy and a daughter, Leila, were born to John H. and Aldine (Vermeer) Van Roekel at their home on Tuesday afternoon of last week, but both of the babies died shortly after birth.

Short graveside services were held for them on Wednesday forenoon with Reverend L.A. Brunsting officiating.

Mrs. Alyda Vermeer is assisting with the work in the home and the small daughter, Arlene Joy, is being cared for at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit H. Van Roekel.
