Frank Schlumbohm, 77, of Hawarden, died May 21 at the Hawarden Hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. May 24 in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.
Mr. Schlumbohm was born June 20, 1898 in Sioux County near Hawarden. He married Clara Winterfeld February 4, 1920 at rural Sioux Center. She died in 1967.
Mr. Schlumbohm retired from farming in 1963. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Arlene) Benson and Mrs. Bill (Lois) Torwelle, both of Hawarden; a brother, Herman of Rock Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Hilda) Degen and Mrs. Dave (Hattie) Johnson, both of Hawarden; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
