Jacob Van Laar, an old time resident and who had been ailing and in poor health for about six months, died Tuesday morning in the County Home.

Jake Van Laar was 81 years, 8 months, and 29 days of age. He came to this country from Holland a good many years ago. All his relatives are in Holland.

Funeral services will be conducted from the First Reformed Church of which he was a member, Reverend Stegeman officiating.
