Rena Van Klompenburg, age 85, died at her residence.

Rena was born March 4, 1905 at Orange City, the daughter of John Van Klompenburg and Dirkie Mulder Van Klompenburg.

She lived in Orange City most of her life. For several years she served as housekeeper for her brothers at Boyden.

She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Orange City, where in earlier years she faithfully attended Sunday School.

Survivors include her two brothers, William and Dick, both of Orange City, and nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister, John, Ike, Jake, Gerrit, Grace Vellinga and Henry.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 6 at the First Reformed Church of Orange City with the Reverend Steven Vander Molen officiating. Interment followed at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.
