Henry Van Klompenburg, 78, of Orange City died Saturday evening at his home following a long illness.

Mr. Van Klompenburg was born May 13, 1907 at Orange City, son of John and Dirkje (Mulder) Van KLompenburg.

On January 26, 1933 he married Cora Stander at Orange City where the couple farmed in the Orange City area. In 1972 they retired and moved to Orange City.

Mr. Van Klompenburg was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cora; two sons, Roger of Sioux City and Stanton of Chicago, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Helen) Jongerius of Orange City and Mrs. Lou (Linda) Massmann of Paullina; nine grandchildren; two brothers, William and Dick of Orange City; one sister, Rena Van Klompenburg of Orange City.

Henry was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
