1880 census list family of Hendrik De Jong 39 yrs wife Judith 40 yrs, children Wilhelmina 15, Maria Louise 14, Johanna 12, Koenrad? 10, Johannes 7, Hendrik 2. Family living in Sherman Tsp. Sioux County.

Research note: Found on ancestry.com (by others) family of Hendrik De Jong 1841-1908 Orange City and Judith Schipper 1840 – 1898.
