John Van Diepen Sr., passed away at his home here Saturday morning following a heart attack.

Mr. Van Diepen was in an accident Friday afternoon when his truck and a truck owned by William Jansen collided. No one seemed to be hurt but it is believed that the shock took effect on Mr. Van Diepen later.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Hohmann) Van Diepen and eleven children of which four are still living at home.
