Aalberse, Gerrit born 1839 died 1895 Orange City IA. Assumed buried there. His wife died in the Netherlands, apparently no children.

Translated: On Saturday the remains of Aalbers brother of Mrs. N. Roghair were brought to the grave, the man had had a lingering illness.

Obituary
In the early morning of Thursday 10 Jan 1895, died at my house, after a lingering disease, my brother-in-law, Gerrit Aalbers aged 55 years. We live in the view that He, who died before was also his savior, and hope to see them hereafter again in better regions. Partly on behalf of my wife and her sister in Pella.

Observaton: It seems he died at Orange City and may have been buried there.

Found possible connection to Roghair family. Gerrit Aalberse born 9 Feb 1939 Lunteren Gelderland Netherlands married Therese Louise Roghair 1818? Died 1892 in Kallenbroek Geld. Gerrit possibly came to the USA alone after his wife died.

Found the marriage of Gerrit Aalberse 27 and Therese Louise Roghair 48, he was the son of Hendrik Aalberse and Cornelia Wouters, she was the dau of Johan Jakob Roghair and ThereseJulie van Ravenswaaij.

Found that Nicolaas Roghair was a son of Johan Jacob Roghair making him a brother in law to Gerrit Aalberse.
